Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate would handle daily activities and communications, performing various administrative tasks to support accounting, records management, sales, safety, and marketing. Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Ensure phone calls are responded to promptly.
  • Prepares, posts, verifies and records customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable.
  • Coordinate with Superintendents/Estimators to invoice & process payments in QuickBooks
  • Identifies past due accounts by reviewing files and contacts delinquent account holders to request payment.
  • Copies, files, and retrieves materials for accounts receivable as needed.
  • Performs daily data entry and other related duties as assigned.

Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications Requirements

  • Verifiable Two years of experience in Office Management/Administration.
  • Must have proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and QuickBooks.
  • Excellent attention to detail and administrative and organizational skills.
  • The ability to achieve tasks in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Have proven experience with file maintenance, compliance, and quality control.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, particularly with customer service.
  • Valid Arizona Driver’s License and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
